Congratulations to Akimel and Centennial Basketball

Phoenix Az.- The Tempe Kyrene Athletic Conference held it's boy's basketball Championship Tournament this week. The conference has both a 7th grade and 8th grade division. The teams in the conference are:

• Akimel
• Altadena
• Aprende
• Centennial
• Kyrene Middle
• Pueblo
• Fees
• Gilliland
• Connolly
• McKemy

Both Centennial and Akimel Middle schools made it to the finals in both the 7th grade and 8th grade division. The game was held at Aprende Middle School. Not to often do  teams from both the 7th grade and 8th grade meet for the championship. Akimel won both divisions to bring home another conference championship.

Both of these teams featured many former and current Jam players and we at Jam want to congratulate all of them for a fine season. Keep up the good work
