Jam Basketball's Winter 2001 season will start January 12th and 13th. We are posting the first part of the schedule and more will be posted as it becomes available. As usual, there is very limited gym time for all the games of the various leagues in the area. AYS, Tempe and Awatukee-Foothills Y, City of Tempe, YBAA, Arizona Stars, and Jam all request gym time. The Kyrene district only assigned one school to the Jam league for Saturday. We also are using Valley Christian and Desert Vista High School. Although we would like to have all games done by 5:00 PM on Saturday, with over 50 teams and 25 games per weekend, it is impossible to have the games done that early. So games will be going on from early on Saturday morning, to late Saturday evening. We hope you all understand that we just have to many players for the available facilities. |
